Richard Macklin

Chief Executive Officer

IMG_0032Richard A. Macklin – CEO and Founder of Beemac Trucking, LLC, began his career in the transportation industry at the early age of 16 as a dispatcher. He then continued as an agent and through perseverance and tenacity founded Beemac Trucking in 1982. Beemac was originally created as a logistics company and 2 years later expanded into local transportation. The business was grown on core business. Rick began in the industry with 1 truck and nearly 30 years later has grown the company fleet as well as extended its owner operator base to a fleet of over 300 flats, vans, curtain sides, straight trucks, hot shots and specialized units. In 2008 Rick opened the Port facility in Leetsdale, PA, a multiple intermodal facility located along the Ohio River devoted to bulk and metals distribution and over 450,000 square feet of warehousing with ability of loading and unloading truck, railcar, and barges. With the effort to continue to be on the edge of technology and economic change, Rick has emerged Beemac even further and has built the BeeGreen Fueling Station in Ambridge, PA. The first Compressed Natural Gas Station in Beaver County. Through strategic planning, passion, and ingenuity, Rick has built a company that is an intrinsically motivating environment. A successful entrepreneur who’s motivation remains particularly focused on building and maintaining solid employee and customer relationships and complete customer satisfaction. Rick is a 32nd Degree Mason and has previously served on the Board for Habitat for Humanity. Rick enjoys playing golf and spending time with his children. His daughter is a registered nurse and his son is a junior at the University of Pittsburgh studying pre-med.

Loren Dworakowski


IMG_0006Loren Dworakowski, President of Beemac Trucking, LLC has more than 15 years of experience in the transportation industry. Starting out as the Controller for Beemac Trucking, LLC in 2008, he quickly grew in the position of Chief Financial Officer in 2010. Through strategic planning and strong financial management, he played a vital role in doubling revenues and profits over the last 5 years. In March of 2014, he was promoted to the President of Beemac Trucking, LLC and currently remains in that position. Prior to Beemac Trucking, LLC, Loren worked as the Accounting Manager for PGT Trucking. He was promoted 4 times within the company from 2001 to 2008 which began his climb up the corporate ladder. He successfully helped cut overhead costs during that period in excess of $1 million dollars. Loren has strong financial skills including in depth knowledge of both cash and accrual accounting systems, budgeting, analyzing financial statements, and all aspects of helping companies maximize profits. He has continually developed his Executive Management skills to a high level and currently manages a staff of 32 personnel. Loren Dworakowski holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University. He is a member of the Beaver County Chamber of Commerce and is active with numerous groups within the community.


Ronald Derbis

Director of Safety and Compliance

IMG_0006Ron Derbis-Director of Safety and Compliance joined Beemac January 2015. He has over 35 years’ experience in Transportation and Logistics primarily in the Safety and Operations Areas. Ron has worked for Fortune 500 companies such as H.J. Heinz as Manager Transportation Rates and Services with additional responsibilities of managing the Heinz Private Fleet and Cardinal Health as Manager of Transportation, Distribution and EHS. He also has 20 years carrier experience mainly steel hauling.  He has been trained and is knowledgeable in DOT, OSHA, FDA, and EPA regulations. Past certifications include Trainer for the Smith System Defensive Driving Program, DOT Hazardous Materials Trainer, Quality Assessments, and Lean-Six Sigma. Ron holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Logistics Management from Robert Morris University.


Mike Presto

Director of Heavy Haul Division

Mike Presto began learning in transportation at the early age of 13 for his family’s business, Three Rivers Trucking, Inc. Following graduation, Mike’s career went full time with Harmony Transport, also a family business. Mike has many years of experience in flatbed, van, and container dispatch.   While he worked full time, he attended college in the evenings.    Mike is a graduate of Cisco Network Academy with a CCNA Certification. At that time, Mike began working for PGT Trucking in the IT department; however, after a short time was asked to transition into operations, due to his knowledge.  Mike continued with college and obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Logistics from Robert Morris University while he worked at PGT Trucking.   Mike worked as a fleet manger running local flatbeds, b-trains, and turn pike double.   He has grown a local fleet from 8 trucks to 40 plus.    Mike also has experience as a Customer Service Manager and preparation and set up of new terminals. Mike was a Terminal Manager for W.L. Byers Trucking, Inc. for 7 years in which he gained extensive working knowledge of the specialized heavy haul business.

Dave Lambert

VP-Port Facilities (Barge)

IMG_0001Dave Lambert, Vice President of material handling at Beemac Port Services LLC, has more than 12 years of experience in in the trans-loading / Intermodal industry, Dave has over 20 years of experience in management. Dave has spent the last 7 years as the Vice President of material handling at Beemac Port Services LLC. He has extensive experience loading and unloading a variety of materials via barge, rail, truck and container shipment methods. Dave has worked as a manager in the trans-loading industry for such companies as Leetsdale Logistics, Chapman Service Group, American Eagle Steel Corp and Aliquippa Terminals. Among his significant previous positions, Dave served as a Lead Engineer with AT&T Local Network Services, a Pittsburgh-based Telecommunications company. He is proficient in CAD and a number of other engineering programs. Dave attended the New Castle School of trade as well as other field specific training programs.
